Chapter 20 - Urinary System Lab PowerPoint Up!

Chapter 20 - Urinary System Lab is finished and available! You can get it on the menu to the right.

I'm heading to bed to rest my weary head and bones. It's been a long day and I have a few more lab PowerPoints that I want to make before the lab practical Saturday morning. I have to do one on the Reproductive System, Meiosis, and Fetal Development.

Have a good night.

Question

I've been thinking about starting a photobucket account or something similar with all of my pictures from Anatomy and Physiology 102, but I wasn't sure if anyone would even be interested in that. If you are, please, send an email or leave a comment so I know that you'd like them.

I'd write more but I'm so bogged down with end of the semester work! I've got the final in Anatomy and Physiology 101 due by May 3rd, 2 more quizzes left in Chemistry, a paper due in Technical Writing, and a lab practical and lecture final in Anatomy and Physiology 102 left to finish up. It's not TOO much, but I'm stressed about the two anatomy classes. The lab practical is two days before the final in 101, so I'm trying to study for both. *le sigh* I'll let you know how it goes.

Have a good one!

Lecture PowerPoints

A friend of mine from class made a PowerPoint based on our lecture exam study guide. I broke the PowerPoint up into two separate ones for each chapter (Chapters 20 & 21 in Holes Human Anatomy & Physiology) and added a few extras.

You can find the lecture PowerPoint for Chapter 20 - the Urinary System and the lecture PowerPoint for Chapter 21 - Water, Electrolyte, and Acid-Base Balances on the menu to the right.

Enjoy and thanks a bunch, Jazz!

I'm getting closer...

Today was the day for the second lab practical and guess who aced it? Yep, yours truly did a fantabulous job! I scored a 97/100, woohoo! That brings my grade up to a VERY high B (I would have an A if 90% was the cut off). The nursing program is definitely within reach and I'm so excited that I can barely stand it! However, lecture exam 3 is looming around the corner (next week!), so I've got to study my behind off!!!

I hope everyone is doing great!

System PowerPoints

The Powerpoints that I've created are now up and ready to use. On the right, you can find the Digestive System, the Lymphatic System, and the Respiratory System.

I hope they help!

Endocrine System Powerpoint

So, I've finally finished my PowerPoint for the Endocrine System and wanted to share it with you! Let me know if I need to add any more information. :-)

Not much has been happening around here, school wise. The kids (yes, all 4 of them) and my husband, Nate, were all ill last week and it was a madhouse around here. Fevers, vomiting, and diarrhea are never fun to deal with. *sigh*

My second lab practical in Anatomy & Physiology 102 is on Saturday and I've been studying my butt off. I'm also retaking the TEAS this coming Monday 03/29/2010 and I'm nervous about that. Hopefully, I will make a higher score this time.

Check out the menu on the right and enjoy! BTW, for some reason the pictures look strange in Google Docs, but when you download it, the pics look great!

Spring Break

It's Spring Break at my campus and I think it is at all the other campus' associated with my school. Only one of my classes (AnP102) is actually on campus, so I don't have to worry about it so much. I should be enjoying the time without homework, but I'm trying to get ahead so that I can focus on studying for the TEAS, which I retake on the 29th. I'm close to the wire, time wise, since the application for the nursing program is due on April 1st, but at least I'm getting it in there. My first grade on the TEAS wasn't terrible, but I want to see if I can do better.

I've got good and bad news. This past Friday, I took the AnP101 midterm and did very, very well! I studied for over a week and wrote down all pertinent facts from all 7 chapters, however that didn't leave much time for studying for the AnP102 lecture exam on Saturday. I made a C on it and I am NOT happy. I did so well on the first lecture exam in there (94%!) and I'm ticked at myself that I didn't do as well on the second. This score dropped my grade to a high B and I'm so glad that I still have time to raise it. The next lab practical is on the 27th, so I've been studying for it this week.

My other classes are going pretty well. I have an A in Tech Writing and a B (currently) in Chemistry. I'm determined to try my hardest to raise it to an A. I have 6 weeks to bring my grade up 5%. Think it's possible?
